• At open meeting held October 5, 2009, the PUC did not adopt the Wiley's petition to amend the rules, however, the PUC found that there exists an imminent peril to the public health, safety and welfare and moved to adopt emergency termination regulation applicable to any residential customer whose utility service has been terminated by National Grid for non-payment or who has a Termination date scheduled. The emergency regulation will be effect immediately through December 1, 2009. The Commission issued Report Order No. 19779 amending the current rules and filed the emergency termination rules with the Secretary of Start on October 6, 2009.
