Interim Rate Relief Tariff - Effective May 2, 2018

2005 Tariff Provisions – Many tow companies remain on the amended 2005 tariff as outlined below:

Police Ordered Tow:                  $82.00
Private Property Tow:                $93.00
Mileage (to storage lot):             $3.00/mile after first five (5) on-hook miles
Mileage (to alternate site):        $3.00/mile beginning immediately on-hook
Storage:                                       $24.00/24-hour period, beginning moment delivered to storage lot
After-Hours Release:                  $20.00
Waiting/Recovery Times:           $60.00/hour after 1st hour on scene, billed in 15-minute increments

2015 Tariff Provisions – Adopted originally by one tow company, the 2015 tariff has subsequently been adopted by a group of other tow companies and remains available for adoption by others without need for an evidentiary hearing. Outlined below:

All Light-Duty Non-Consensual Tows Back to Tower’s Lot:          $115.00, includes 1st 24 hours storage;
(Police ordered and private property)                                                    no mileage charge

All Light-Duty Non-Consensual Tows to Alternate Site:                $100.00, plus $4/mile from site of tow
(Police ordered and private property)                                                  delivery site chosen by vehicle owner

All Medium-Duty* Non-Consensual Tows Back to Tower’s Lot: $135.00, includes 1st 24 hours storage;
(Police ordered and private property)                                                    no mileage charge

All Medium-Duty* Non-Consensual Tows to Alternate Site:       $120.00, plus $4/mile from site of tow
(Police ordered and private property)                                                 delivery site chosen by vehicle owner

Surcharge for Motorcycle Tow:                                                                 $20.00

Storage:                                                               $25.00/24-hour period (Days 2 – 7)
                                                                               $30.00/24-hour period (beyond Day 7)
                                                                               (Higher rates for longer vehicles; see Order No. 21874)

After-Hours Release:                                   $20.00 – ONLY applies to police tows (not private property)

*Medium Duty rates apply to towed vehicles with a GVW greater than 8,000 pounds.
